Powered by Awesome 2018 Book List: Learn How to Help Through Influence, Selling and Meeting the Needs of Your Clients

Last year I attempted to read a “book a week”… yep, 52 total books in 1 year. I made it most of the way through, and boy did I learn a lot. One of those things was that 52 books is way too many books, at least for me. It’s not that it wasn’t possible, and it’s not that I didn’t enjoy the process (because I did), it’s that I wasn’t able to sit back and reflect and apply as much as I wanted to.

This year I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to have more time with each book. I wanted to be a little more strategic and focus my learning. So I cut the number in half, and hand selected the books based off what I wanted to learn more about.

Like the old adage goes, “Plan the work, and then work the plan”.

Most of my reading list is focused on sales and marketing. Why? Because having a great product is no longer enough… you have to be able to convince people that the value that you’re providing is worth more the money you’re charging.

And to quote Zig Ziglar, “you will get what you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.”

I want to help my clients get more sales, and change more lives.
